Raleigh - Triangle Wedding Cakes and Catering

Cake is a sharing food. We celebrate birthdays with it. We share it at restaurants, we serve it at tea time. We slice it together to show our love as husband and wife. Cake can have fruit, nuts, even tomato soup in it. We top it with sugar, we top it with ice cream, we don't top it at all. What child doesn't love licking the spoon? Cake is fun to try new things with, yet has wonderful traditions.

Like many bakers, I started baking cakes when my kids were little, and I wanted to do something special for their birthday parties. Having a background in art, I found cakes were a kind of media to express myself, and really enjoyed creating new and different kinds of cakes.

I bake all my cakes myself, using only the freshest ingredients. I firmly feel a cake must not only look good, but taste good too.
