Marilyn has always been a musician (singer, organist, and pianist) but in 1990 she fell in love with the harp and has made that her musical focus since that time. She has a large repertoire of classical, pops, and celtic music to offer for your event. She also offers the flute and harp duo and the Merry Minstrels (a group who plays for Medieval or Renaissance theme weddings.)

She has a Bachelor of Music in Organ and a Masters and Doctorate in Voice, and has taught music on the college level for many years. She has been organist and choirmaster for several churches. She plays the harp frequently for weddings, parties and concerts, and is known for her beautiful touch and musicality on this instrument. In addition to playing hundreds of weddings, she has played the harp in several oratorio performances at local churches. She has also been featured on four TV shows about her harp ministry for hospice. Out of this ministry, she and her husband founded a music business called Deer Hollow Music through which they sell their compositions for harp and CD's and tapes of her performances.
